1993: V Series

World's 1st Automated Fuzzy-Logic 32-bit high-speed CNC control that enhances performance, stabilizes machining current, and constantly monitors all machine operations

New CAE machine design requires only 50% of the space needed by previous models

The 32-bit control coupled with a direct drive smart AC servo system achieves a 4 millionth's movement resolution

New automatic as well as an improved version of FAP programming is made possible by the 32-bit control

1985_ex-series.jpg   1995: EX Series

The EX series is available in 3 sizes covering working areas from 9.8 x 11.8 x 9.8" up to 19.7 x 27.5 x 13.7". Maximum workpiece weight ranges from 1210 up to
4400 lb.

Traveling column design has created a saddle-less ram structure with a low center of gravity. This lighter weight system increases rigidity while reducing heat deformation for improved response

FP power supply with LC and BEP circuitry speed up roughing times and improve large area electrode finishing

Fuzzy Pro with MF adapter automatically adjusts machining current to match the electrode surface area in contact with the workpiece

E.S.P.E.R. is the new easy simple programming system that makes multicavity programming a snap

vx-series.jpg   1995: VX Series

The VX series is available in 2 machine sizes covering working areas from 9.8 x 13.8 x 13.8” and 13.8 x 19.8 x 13.8”.  Workpiece weights max out at 1325 and 2208 respectively.

Computer aided engineering helped to design the ultra-stable machine platform, which includes an internal ventilation system for optimum stability and accuracy.

FP power supply with the MF Fuzzy Logic Control and Fuzzy Pro put years of operator experience into the machine that can make corrections in machining technology faster than humanly possible.

Fuzzy Pro with MF adapter automatically adjusts machining current to match the electrode surface area in contact with the workpiece

E.S.P.E.R. programming with AI (artificial intelligence) make part programming and technology selection as easy as answering a few questions.

ea-8.jpg   1999: EA-8

64-bit PC Based CNC Control, operating with a Windows-style graphic user interface, provides color graphics, multi-window screens, and full multi-tasking.

Larger Program Storage with a 100MB section of the hard-drive set up for user storage.

"Fuzzy Pro II " Control System offers unparalleled speed, safety, and ease of operation regardless of an operator's experience.  This control system combines three basic elements managed by the “Fuzzy” process.

Moving Column Design allows greater workpiece weight capability and easier loading / unloading of workpieces.

Fine Resolution Encoder Feedback, now 10 times finer than our previous model, promotes higher accuracy machine positioning and improved part accuracy.

E.S.P.E.R. Navigator now simplifies programming inputs to a short question-and- answer session prompting the operator through the process.

New FP60 Power Supply provides high performance machining capabilities and ease of use.

ea-12.jpg   2000: EA-12/12E

Expanding the EA Series is the new EA12 and EA12E standard tank and 3-sided drop tank machines. The more popular 12E provides an internal worktank area of 33.46 x 23.62 x 13.78 inches with a maximum oil depth of  11.8 inches.

Moving Column Design allows greater workpiece weight capability and easier loading / unloading of workpieces.

The Newly Designed AC Smart Servo Drive System allows unexcelled cutting accuracy and high-speed positioning with a 0.05µm motor resolution.

Three Sided Drop Tank provides easy access to the work tank area (EA12E only).

"Fuzzy Pro3" Control System offers unparalleled jump speed, safety, and ease of operation regardless of an operator's experience.

New High-Speed Jump System gets the electrode back into the part quickly, improving burn efficiency, particularly during small rib no-flush type burns.

ea-22.jpg   2000: EA-22/22E & EA22P
